The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is deeply saddened to announce the passing of former Jail Programmer Tim Brummer. His loss is felt profoundly across the agency and by all who had the privilege of working alongside him during his distinguished career.
Tim retired in June 2025 after more than 34 years of dedicated service to Morrison County. Throughout his decades of service, he was known not only for his professionalism and strong work ethic, but also for his compassion, humility, and unwavering commitment to the people he served. He approached his role with a deep sense of purpose, believing that even a single positive impact on a life made each day meaningful.
Beyond his career accomplishments, Tim will be remembered as a man who truly loved life. He valued his colleagues and friendships deeply and always carried a genuine interest in the well-being of others. His faith was an important guiding force throughout his life, shaping the kindness and integrity that defined him both personally and professionally.
Tim cherished his family above all else, keeping them close to his heart in everything he did. He passed away this morning at his cabin, a place that held special meaning for him and where he found peace and joy.
His legacy is one of service, compassion, and humanity—reflected in the countless lives he touched during his long career. Tim often expressed that if he could make even one person’s life better each day, his work was worthwhile. By that measure, his impact was extraordinary.
