A mass shooting at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Union Township, New Jersey, on Saturday night has left at least one person dead and several others injured, sparking panic and an ongoing police investigation.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. at the restaurant located along Route 22. Authorities say multiple shots were fired inside or near the establishment, which was crowded at the time. The sudden gunfire sent customers and staff scrambling for safety, with many fleeing the scene in fear as chaos unfolded.
Early reports indicate that at least six people were shot during the incident. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while others were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not yet been publicly confirmed.
