We extend our deepest condolences to Glyn and the entire family of Janis Phillips, whose passing on Thursday, 19th March 2026, marks the loss of a deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Janis passed away peacefully after a long illness, borne with remarkable strength and dignity, with her devoted husband by her side.
Janis will be remembered for her courage, resilience, and the quiet grace with which she faced life’s challenges. Her strength throughout her illness was a testament to her character, and her presence brought comfort and love to those around her even in the most difficult times. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, devotion, and unwavering family commitment.
She was a much-loved wife to Glyn, who stood faithfully beside her throughout her journey. Janis was a loving mother to her sons Andrew and the late Ronnie, and a caring mother-in-law to Natalie and Elaine. Her love and guidance extended to her cherished grandchildren—Abi, Lyla, Dean, Harry, Cerys, and Kelly—each of whom held a special place in her heart. She is also lovingly remembered by her sister and brothers, who shared in her life’s many treasured moments.
Janis’s family and friends will remember her for her kindness, her strength, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her memory will continue to live on through the generations she helped shape and inspire.
A public funeral service will be held on Saturday, 18th April 2026 at 2:00pm at Llanelli Crematorium. Her cortege will depart from her home in Siloh at 12:40pm. In accordance with her family’s wishes, attendees are kindly invited to wear a splash of colour to honour Janis’s life and spirit.
During this time of sorrow, may her family find comfort in the love and memories they shared, and in the enduring legacy she leaves behind.
