Three individuals were arrested following a violent armed robbery that took place Wednesday afternoon in Boston. Authorities say the suspects used bear spray, a rock, and a firearm to assault two victims during the incident.
Police identified the suspects as 23-year-old Sebastian Fecu of Dorchester, who faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon; 18-year-old Natalya Moore of Dorchester, charged with three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and one count of armed robbery; and 33-year-old Delroy Beckford of Boston, who was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants related to drug offenses, motor vehicle violations, and assault and battery.
The incident occurred around 2:00 p.m. on Topliff Street in the Dorchester neighborhood. According to investigators, the victims had arrived at the location to drop off items when they were suddenly attacked by multiple individuals. The victims reported being sprayed with bear spray and struck with a rock, while one suspect allegedly used a firearm to hit one of the victims in the head.
Emergency medical services responded, but both victims declined further treatment at the scene. During the investigation, officers determined the suspects had retreated into a nearby apartment. Police established a perimeter, conducted a protective sweep, and secured the residence while awaiting a warrant.
The suspects were taken into custody shortly afterward and are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
