It is with profound sorrow and tenderness that we honour the brief but deeply meaningful life of Kadan Allen Lee Vermillion, who passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Oklahoma City at just 16 days old.
Though his time on earth was heartbreakingly short, Kadan was surrounded by immense love from the moment he arrived. His presence brought great joy to his family, leaving behind a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who had the privilege of welcoming and cherishing him. In his brief life, he was deeply loved and will forever remain a treasured part of his family’s story.
Kadan is lovingly reunited with family members who passed before him, including his great-grandparents Robert and Jan Day, Billie Scott, Mary (South) Vermillion-Gill, and Walter J. Vermillion; his infant sister, Tinleigh Vermillion; and his great-aunts Caryn Vermillion, Janette Ballman, and Linda Vermillion. He is now held in their eternal care and peace.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Meghann Vermillion, and his loving family, including his siblings Asher Price and Oakleigh Vermillion; his grandparents Gary Vermillion and Stephanie Scott; his uncle Daniel Vermillion; his aunt Jayna Vermillion and her husband Brian McDonald; and many extended family members, cousins, and relatives who will carry his memory forward with love.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Sulphur Cemetery near Hartshorne, with burial to follow.
Though his time with us was brief, Kadan’s life was a gift of love, hope, and connection. He will be forever cherished, deeply missed, and held always in the hearts of those who loved him most.
